This is How We Distribute Funds
Dear Community Fund Requester:
The Auberry Intermountain Rotary Club is pleased to invest in our local community.  We are only as good as the community we serve, so please take the time to assist us in helping you and your organizations.

This is to inform your organization about funding allocations and time lines from your local Rotary Club.  Our major fund raising event is the annual Shaver Lake Musick Mountain Festival held in August.  A second fund raising event is our Golf Tournament also held annually in April at Eagle Springs. These two events provide us with the funds that we invest back into the community on an application process.

We have proudly contributed to Sierra High School’s Sober Graduation Nite, scholarships for our high school seniors, books for the school libraries, dictionaries for fifth grade students, the local food banks, Salvation Army’s Christmas Love Baskets, school field trips, Literacy Interactive Foothill Team and annually send students to Camp Royal Leadership Training as well as support to several other community activities.

As a past and/or future recipient of Auberry Intermountain Rotary Club funds, we are implementing new procedures that will help prioritize the distribution of funds in our local community.  Many times donation requests come in later in the year and funds have already been expended, so help us help you by planning ahead.

In order that both of us can plan ahead, the windows for applying are phase 1: September 1st- October 31st; and phase 2: January 1st- February 28th.  The recipients will be notified shortly after the closing date.  Applications received after the deadline will be considered only if funds are available and may only be partially funded.

Guidelines to consider when applying are:
  1. Contributions will be made to programs supporting more than just an individual.
  2. The applicant must be not-for-profit or non-profit organization.
  3. Requests need to be for specific purposes rather than general funds.
  4. All requests will be made in writing on the enclosed application.

Please feel free to contact our club if you should have any further questions or would like more information.  We can be contacted by mail at P.O. Box 874, Auberry, CA 93602.  We also meet at Virginia B. Causey Education Center, 29143 Auberry Road, Prather, California, every Thursday morning at 7 a.m.  You are always welcome to join us.

Sincerely,

Alma Baker
Auberry Intermountain Rotary Club President
